TO-NIGHT’S CONCERT.
BY TIIE CHORAL SOCIETY. That, the Fox ton public will take advantage of the opportunity this evening of hearing the excellent talent to he presented at the Foxton Choral Society’s second concert, goes without saying. The Choral Society, under the capable baton of Mr IJ. Osborne, lias been undertaking special preparation of the part songs to be rendered and in addition the Society, has arranged for the appearance of accomplished artists from Wanganui. Miss Amy Eaton, gold medalist, will contribute a number of favourite vocal items and Messrs Christie and Thomas will also assist. These three vocalists are artists of considerable renown. Mr G. Buckley, cornetist, wellknown for his solo work, will render a number of his inimitable selec*tions. The prices of admission are very moderate, and the programme being such a good one, a large attendance should result.
