Down lambs 28/42’s, ll:|d per lb; best North Island 28/42’s, l.lid per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, U.j.,1 per lit; second quality lambs 28/42’s llid per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/(14 s, t -id pel lb; best North Island wether sheep (14/72's, b.id per lit; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/(54 s, <id ])er lb; North Island ewes 48/(l4’s, sid per lb; North Island ewes ()4/72’s, 4:jd per lb; New Zealand prime ox heel 100/220 s, 3:jd per lb. As compared with last week» quotations, ordinary lamb, also wethers, are id per lh. cheaper, heavy ewes id per lb. cheaper. Ihe market for lamb is steady, particularly for prime lamb 2’s; better demand for mutton at lower prices.
