THE LOSS OF THE CYiiEXA

Wanganui, June 24. In connection with the stranding of the Cyrena, the Court’s finding was given this morning after u protracted sitting and very exhaustive inquiry. The finding was the compete exoneration of Capl. Patterson and bis officers, also Capt, Mclntyre, the Harbourmaster, and harbour officials. The Court held that the accident was due to a narraw bank caused by a submerged log, which was deemed to be an act of God. The Court intimates that its decision is unanimous. Costs were awarded to the master of the Oyrerm and the pilot.
