NO ALL BLACK MATCH.

The New Zealand Rugby Union decided to-night to abandon the proposed match between the All Blacks of 1924 and 1925 on the return of the latter from Sydney, as insuflieient men are available to form a strong 192-4 team. Instead the Australian visitors will meet a combined team from Wellington, Manawatu and liorowhenua. The To Mori Rose Bowl will lie decided at Wellington on August 19lli and from llie contending teams, a .Maori liftcon will be chosen to meet Canterbury at Christchurch on August 22.
Invercargill was allotted the North v. Smith match, and the date was lixed for July 25. Mr. R. (i. Warren, secretary of the International Rugby Board, advised that several unions had expressed the view that ii would lie
impossible to send out a team to New Zealand in either 1920 or 1927, as Mr. C. .1. Wra.v, the Dominion 11 present.-! liw on the English KugI)v Fniou, stated that France was aide to guarantee a fully representative side for 1927. It wits decided to send an invitation for Hint year. The suggestion for the combined mulch ugainsl the 1925 All Blacks either at Wellington or Palmerston North, was made by Mr. J. R. Hnrdie, on Tuesday night, but it would appear the match is more likely to lie played ai Wellington.
