DEATH UNDER GAS.

While having teeth extracted in Wellington yesterday afternoon a young mail, Adam James Glasgow, employed its a law clerk by Messrs. Wilford, Levi, and Jackson, collapsed, and died before the arrival of a doctor. Deceased, who was 22 years of ago and resided with his parents at Ngaio, visited the dental room of Mr -J. J. Quinn, Liimhtou Quay, at about 4 pan. and gas was administered about a quarter of an hour later. Five teeth were extracted, and .just before the next tooth was removed it was noticed that the patient had collapsed. AIT. Quinn and his assistant applied restorative measures, but without success, and when Dr. R. Stout arrived he pronounced life extinct.
