PALMERSTON NORTH POSTAL DISTRICT.
TRANSFER OF SAVINGS BANK ACCOUNTS. From the Ist July, 1925, the post office at' Foxton, which has hitherto been included in the Postal District of Wellington will he incorporated in the newly created Postal District of Palmerston North, of which the Palmerston North post office will he the principal or Chief Office. This will involve the transfer of savings-bank a (‘counts from one district to the other; hut depositors will suffer no monetary loss by the change, and only a minimum of inconvenience. Every depositor is urged to hand to the Postmaster his passbook and a completed form of notice to transfer the account to Palmerston North district on the 2!)th instant, or as soon there after as convenient. In the course of a few days a new book will be issued and forwarded to the depositor through the Postmaster. Thenceforth all notices of withdrawal for savingsbank accounts so transferred must be forwarded to the Chief Postmaster, Palmerston North.
