Messrs Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the hollowing cable from their London agents, dated 12th ■June, 11)25. •‘Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered" basis, i.e., including .storage charges, cartage, tolls etc.) Down lambs 28/42's, Hi; per lb; best North Island 28/4-2’s, 11 Ml per lb; Ordinary North Island 28/42's 11 g d per lb; second quality lambs 28/42’s, llAd per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/Ill’s, 7/d per lb; best North Island Wether sheep G4/72’s, G;|d per lb; ordinary North Island Wether sheep 48/04’s, 7J[(l per lb; North Island ewes 48/'(>4’s, old per lb; North Island ewes 04/72's, 5 per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef 100/220’s, 3:,'d per 11). As compared with last week’s quotations, best lamb is id per lb. cheaper, whilst ordinary lamb is Ml per lb. cheaper; heavy wethers [d per lb dearer and beef Id per lb. cheaper. The market for prime lamb B’s and 4’s is weaker with slow demand, light weights steady; mutton no change, poor demand.
