P.O. MONEY ORDERS.
COMM fSSIOX REDUCED. Auckland. June 10. The Postmaster-General (Sir James Parr) announces a reduction on the commission on money orders issued n New Zealand for payment in must places beyond New Zealand. Tim rates for the Australian States have boon fixed at (id for the first £2 or fraction thereof, and Is for slims not exceeding £5. For sums up to £7 the charge is Is fid; for amounts up to £lO. 2s. For each alternate increase of £2 and £3, an additional fid is charged. The rate for all places abroad, except Australia, will in future be 3d for each £1 or fraction thereof. The rate hitherto chargeable has been (id for each pound or fraction of a pound.
