BUSINESS NOTICE.
The N.Z Bacon and Meat Co., Lt., advertise Monday, June 15th, as their trucking date for Foxton. A meeting of the ball committee of the Foxton Tennis Club will be held in the Town Hall to-morrow evening at 7.30 o’clock. A full attendance is requested. In to-day’s issue the Kailway Department advertise holiday excursion fares to Palmerston North in connection with the National Dairy Show. Those wishing to visit the Show will have an opportunity of travelling at the reduced rate on any day during Show week. The evening truin from Palmerston North for Foxton will be delayed on 17th and 18th June.
Commencing next Saturday, the firm of Barr and Tver inaugurate the biggest sale they, have yet organised. A big feature of this winter sale in the amount of seasonable goods they offer at half price, and even less. Every department is offering goods at much below ordinary prices, and we strongly advise our readers to anticipate their requirements by taking the earliest opportunity of securing a few of the genuine bargains offered by this popular firm.*
