FOXTON PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the above was held in the Plunket Room on Monday. Present Mesdames F. McDonald (acting President), Trueman, Hynes, F. Procter, Chrystall, Owen, Biminer, Downes, the secretary (Mrs McMurray). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames F. Robinson, Walton, Baker and Christie. Prior to the commencement of business a motion of sympathy was passed to Mrs Baker (a member of Committee) in her recent bereavement. Nurse Hughes' monthly report showed visits to Foxton 3, to homes 10, adults to office 43, children 47, a total of 103. New case 1. Mrs F. Procter jiroposed the following new members, Mesdames G. and F. Petrie;' Messrs Alexander, H. Hornblow and D. R-. Barron. A vote of thanks was accorded Mrs Procter for her successful efforts in obtaining new members. Mesdames Chrystall and Rinimer were appointed visitors for the month and Mrs Trueman flower steward.
