-HEARTS OF OAK.’’ The Story of “Hearts of Oak,” ai llie Town Hull to-night deals with the lives and hearts of a little English coast town. Terry Dunnwan, having adopted two children, secs the girl grow up to beautiful womanhood and realises that his laiheih love- for her grown to that of a man for a woman. He tells Chrystall, and although she loves Ned, the young couple decide to sacrifice their love for the happiness of their foster father. Ned pretends to go to sea, hut instead In* hides away and takes to drink, li is not until hi l linds Ned broken I hat Terry realises the sacrifice his children made for him. Then in retribution he makes amends for his wrong in a dramatic manner that ends in his death in the Arctic wastes. He does some amazing .juggling and fancy swinmming in the new Thomas 11. lin e comedy special, and performs some remarkable aquatic tricks with Miss Fazenda.
On Monday night the latest Mack Sennett photoplay burlesque of adventure and red hot romance on the burning desert, satirizing "The Sheik," contradicts all statements relative to the manner in which the Arabians live, will be'.screened Lntitled "The Shriek of Araby.” starring Ben Turpin.
