- ♦ JUDGE THREATENS ARREST. Christchurch, May 14. At the Mount murder trial the court was (lacked to the doors today. People were sitting on the Moor of the gallery, and hundreds could not gain admission to hear what s regarded in legal and police circles as the most sensational trial that has been heard in this country. “1 fail to understand the mennlity of persons who can And amu'cment in a trial of this kind,” so id Mr Justice Adams to the crowd, which had chuckled at, a remark of tin* analyst. “1 must ask a constable to arrest any person indulging in merriment, and bring him or her before me." It was the second time Ilis Honour had threatened to remove persons from the court. The first time was when a man gave an unpractised description of female at lire. Even Mount smiled with the crowd.
