At a recent Council meeting a Councillor considered the tar being used on road work was too thin. This morning, Air G. Huntley, foreman of the road staff, informed our representative that he had discovered, caught in a patch of spilt tar i„ the Council yard, two hedgehogs, ,wo sparrows, a blackbird, and a rat, all of which were dead. From this it would appear that the tat has great adhesive powers.
