RABBIT BOARD CONFERENCE
The -croud annual conference of Rabbit Hoards was held in Feeding carle last month, and was attended by Afessrs Gower (chairman! and Rnikes (member) of the Alanavvntu Rabbit Board.
The following remits were con--idered adopted:— Thar Sub Section 2 of Section Til of the Rabbit Nuisance Act be amended to read “That the chairman shall hold office until the appointment of his successor. ’ The following reeommendattions were considered and adopted: — That the Government he asked through the association to indent wire netting.
That all proprietary rabbit poisons be sold with a guaranteed poison analysis, approved by the Department of Agriculture, and that each container be labelled “That j% i lie poison is of a strength not less iban the Government standard.” That the Rabbit Nuisance Act !„• amended ro empower Boards to borrow money and utilise same for die purpose of acquiring, or building accomodation for employees houses.
That the Rabbit Nuisance Act be amended placing an obligation oil all stock owners in the Board's area io furnish annually to the Board, returns of slock owned on the 30th of April in each year. It was resolved as follows: The conference decided that all Ron ids throughout the Dominion, |,e communicated with, suggesting u Dominion Conference to be held in Wellington.

ing year; — Trustees k. W. Dalrymple, A. P. Urancis, U. K. Johnston, W. H, Smart, and !’. 0. RaikeS.
