NEW BOAT FOR PORT.
A Palmerston N. business firm, with a branch in Foxton, has completed negotiations in connection with the purchase of a scow, which they intend to use for trade purposes between Wellington and Foxton. The boat will be capable of carrying a 200 ton cargo, and is expected to make its initial trip to Foxton in a very short time.
