HOCKEY DANCE.
A most enjoyable dance, organised hv the Red Committee of the Hockey (Mill) was held in the Masonic dial] on Thursday evening. The hall was decorated with greenery an red streamers and was a credit to the committee. There was a splendid attendance, about liftv couples taking the floor, dancing lo splendid music supplied by IT. George, assisted by E. Graham, B. Walls and B. Barnet. An extra was played by Miss Arnold and Miss D. Morgan with Miss H. Morgan as aceompanyist sang “Sleepy Seas." During the evening several novelty dances were held, Mr E. Gralmm and Miss Walks tieiug with Mi>s Arnold and partner for the “hottie dnp.ee," the latter drawing the prize and Air MeEwcn and Mis* Walls being judged winners of the •spot dance.” Mr. M. E. Pcrrenu ciipa hi v officiat ed as MX. It is proposed to hold anotliei dance at an early date.
