WEDDING.

BROWN—NOEDB. A very pretty wedding was solemnised on Monday morning at the Cuba Street Methodist Church says the M.D. Times, when Nit a Mabel, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs K. A. Noedl, Palmerston North, was married to William Henry son of .Mr. and Mrs If. W. Brown, Palmerston North. The Rev. Harold T. Beat was the officiating clergyman.

The bride, who was given away by her lather, wore a Parisian model frock of white georgette, heavily beaded with silver bugle beads. Her tulle veil wbieh was worn off her face, was fastened to her head with mange blossoms and fell in folds at the back to form a train, and she carried a bonnet of while flowers and maidenhair fern. She was attended bv Iwo bridesmaids, the first was her sister, Miss Jvv Noedl, who wore a heliotrope frock of georgette which was prettily beaded and she wore a silver band in her hair and eartied a hoiupiet of shaded flowers. The other bridesmaid was a cousin of the bride, Miss Elsie Owen (Foxton) who was frocked in jade green georgette headed with silver and silver head hand and carried a bouquet of shaded dahlia. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. E. Thomas (Gisborne) as best man and Mr. Bert Brown as

groomsman. After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Noedl entertained their guests at luncheon in the Cuba Street Ilall, where the usual toasts were honoured. Mrs Noedl received her guests in a frock of navy blue brocaded marocain slightly draped and a black hat with feather mount and she carried a bouquet of shaded chrysanthemums. Mrs. Brown the bridegroom’s mother, wore a niggei brown costume, brown hat trimmed with shaded (lowers and carried a posy of yellow chrysanthemums. The bride travelled in a embroidered navv costume trimmed with mole fur and hat to match. Mr. and Mrs Brown left for Auckland, to join the Ulimaroa for Sydney and Melbourne where their honevnioon will lie spent.
