EASTER DAY.

ALL SAINTS’ CHCRCTI. The Easter Day services will long be remembered by those present on Sunday. The church was beautifully decorated by the ladies of the congregation. At the 11 a.m. services, Simper's Holy Communion ollice was sung by the choir, and combined with the beautiful Easter hymns made the service a lovely festival one. At the evening service Mr Harold Hill, of Auckland, sang “If With all Your Hearts,” from Elijah. The choir sang the anthem, “King of Kings,” Mr Hall taking the solo work. Mr Thornber played suitable selections from the organ. The Vicar look the words of the anthem for his text, pointing out that Easter re.joicjng can only he real in the sense of our realisation of the great spiritual resurrection of Christ in the hearts of the people.
