OBITUARY.
WILLIAM JOSEPH XEYLUX—AGED 31 YEARS. Widespread regret was felt at the sudden and unexpected death of Mr William Joseph Neylon, at the age of 31 years, in the Palmerston North Hospital on Sunday last. For many years, since the death of his father, deceased had been managing the property on the Fox-Inn-Levin road, where he resided with his mother and sisters. Deceased was a very popular steward of the Fox'ton Racing Club, and took an enthusiastic interest in hunting, and was a steward of the Manawatu Hunt Club. He took a keen interest in all branches of sport, and a few years ago was one of Fox ton's prominent footballers. His unexpected death at the early age of 31 years came as a blow to all who knew him, am], widespread sympathy is felt for the bereaved relatives.
The funeral took place this afternoon, leaving the Catholic Church for the Foxtou cemetery, and was followed by a large cortege of friends and relatives of deceased. The Rev. Father McDermott conducted the service at the Church and graveside.
