DUES XOAY PAYABLE IN A DA'ANTE. Te Kuiti, Last Night. The biennia] conference of the Grand Lodge of Druids was continued this morning. After lengthy discussion, it was decided to change the method of the payment of lodge contributions by making them payable in advance, in accordance with the practice generally followed by an insurance company. This system, it was contended. would confer greater security to members from losing benelits through being in arrears. It v.its resolved to amend the rules so as to make sick pay at £1 week, payable immediately after initiation. Hitherto sick pay has not been pnyablyr until six months after initiation. The conference is now dealing with a large number of remits of an administrative nature.
