S.M. COURT.
MONTHLY SITTING. The monthly sitting of the S.M. Court was held yesterday before Mr .). L. Stout, S.M. Joseph R. Hynes and Walter Barrat, charged with being illegally on the licensed premises of the Mauawatu Hotel on the night of February lfitli., were each fined £2 with costs 7/-. W. J. Waliinlton, for riding a bicycle within tin l borough after dark without a light, was fined 5/- with costs 7/-. Thomas Hart, for allowing slock ro wander within the borough, was fined 10/-, with costs 7/-. A similar charge aganst .1. A. Hofmann was dismissed. . CIVIL CASES. Judgment was entered for plaintic in the following civil undefended eases:— Burr and Rogers v. P. Knott, claim £lO Hi/-, costs £2 14/-. T. W. Wiuslanley and Son v. W. Baker, £<i, costs £1 1 1 /<>, R. Bryant v. K. C. Boyle, £5 7- d, costs £1 13/0. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. J. O'Reilly was ordered to pay Barr and Tver the sum of £0 0/6, with costs 1 5/(5, forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment, warrant suspended so long as defendant pays 10/- per week. First payment on 2711 i March 1t)25.
