FOXTON HOCKEY CLUB.
A well attended general meeting was held in Mr Perreau’s rooms on Tuesday evening, presided over by Miss MeMurray.
II was decided that the racecourse be used as a playing ground until Victoria Park is in readiness. The matter of uniforms was discussed and it was decided that navy uniforms and white blouses be worn with a coloured sash, colours to he decided upon receipt of information from the Manawatu Association. The following new members were elected: —Mrs E. Arcus, and Misses B. Gower, D. Brown and 0. Robinson. Honorary members: Mrs E. H. Barber, Mr and Mrs E. Parkin and Mr C. Proctor. A motion .was carried to the effect that fortnightly dances be held in the Masonic Hall, commencing next week. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair. The following members (Green) will control a dance to be held in the Masonic Hall next week:—Mrs Ball, Misses Patterson (3), Walsh, Owen, MeMurray, Peryman, Roore, L. Morgan, Barber, Admore, Skellen, Stevenson and Gower. The red committee is as follows: —Misses H. and D. Morgan, Walls, Perreau, Henskie, Prodter, Ritchie, Purcell, Anderson, Desmond, Moore, Graham, Brown and Mrs E. Arcus.
