Ideal weather-and the usual feeling of goodfellowshp that pervades the Levin green when Foxton visitors are present enabled the three rinks who made the trip yesterday to spend a very enjoyable time. The green was in excellent playing order, and the results showed that the opposing teams were evenly matched. The following are the details:—

Foxton: Huntley, Parkes, Walker, Woods (s) 14. Levin: P. Clements, Foss, Sigley, Hawke (s) 12. This game was closely contested, the nineteenth head showing the scores .12 all. From the two subsequent heads Woods scored two singles, after shot had been wrested from the opponents on both ends. Levin: Anderson, Gibson, Challies, Rankin (s) 20. Foxton: Winstanley, Hollings, Whibley, Thomson (si 19. This game also was closely contested throughout, and the scores stood even on the twentieth head, Levin managing to make the deciding point on the last end. Foxton: Downes, Gamble, Pearson, Christie (s) 21. Levin: Clements snr., Barker, Wilson, Pyke (s) 15. Christie was able to establish a fair margin by the time the sixteen Hi head had been played, the scores then being 19 —8. Levin were only able to slightly reduce the margin by Hie end of the game. Mr Sultan, president, expressed the home club’s pleasure in having Hie visitors present, Dir Christie replying on behalf of Foxton Club.

The Champion of Champions, pairs contest will take pa'lce at Palmerston X. on Saturday.
