MAORI FATALLY HURT.

FALL OFF A BRIDGE. Hamilton, March 13. A Maori named Mason Atutalii* died in the Waikato Hospital this morning from injures sustained yesterday at Oparure, near Te jKuiti. Deceased, it is understood, was walking across the sleepers of a trestle bridge on a bush tramline when ho slipped and fell, sustaining the injuries, to which he later succumbed. He managed to make his way some distance to his home, from whence he was brought to the hospital. An operation was performed, but proved of no avail.
