Pulls dub have intimated that they intend visiting Eoxton on Wednesday next. It is anticipated that ’terrace End Club will send two rinks on that date. Levin Club have approved of the 18th inst. as the dale for Foxion’s visit. Levin Club asks Eoxton to send six rinks. The opposing side- was lying six up, when Mr Blown sent down his last bowl. It scattered the opposing bowls in all directions and carried "kitty” down among his own shots which were lying further back, with the result that Mr Brown’s rink won by seven up, instead of losing by six down. A shot that scores thirteen is claimed as something of a Dominion record.
