THE PRICE OF BREAD.

Wellington, Last Night. During the past ten days, the price of bread has been under consideration by the executive of the Master Bakers’ Association of New Zealand and has also been the subject of a conference between the executive and the Board of Trade. The master bakers have also discussed the position with the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Mr Anderson, who afterwards stated he would make an official announcement to-morrow. In conversation with Mr M. E. Perreau re the proposed rise in bread, we were informed that up lo r.ie present, lie had not received any official information from the Association as to the proposed rise. He said he had recently received a consignment of flour at the increased price.
