COMPENSATION FOR ACCIDENT .
£035 DAMAGES AWARDED. Christchurch, Last Night. In the Supreme Court, Bernice Young, a waitress, was awarded special and general damages amounting to £035 (i/f) against Mrs M. Marshall, taxi-proprietress, for injuries received through a taxi drivi a by a servant of the defendant, colliding with a telegraph pole, through alleged negligence in management and excessive speed. Leave was granted defendant for a nonsuit, or a new trial.
