BOWLING.
One rink from Foxton is participating to-day in the Takaro Club’s rinks tourney for possession of a Cup, which will subsequently he subject to challenge vtitkin the Centre similar Lu the Dixon Cup. The conditions of piay are three games of ten heads. Foxton rink will consist of Head, Warwick, Ross, Roore. On Wednesday three or four rinks from Buffs Oluh will pay a visit to the local green. This will be the first time for a considerable period that any number of players from Bulls Club have visited here, urn catering arrangements on this occasion will he as usual —howlers and croquet players bring a basket. A meeting of Committee will he held at L3U on Monday evening iu the usual place of meeting.
