FARMER’S SUICIDE.
Timaru, Last Night. A farmer residing at. Hook Swamp near Makikihi, named Thomas Thornloy. was missing from home on Tuesday night, and found at 10.30 a.m. hanging in a plantation mar by. At the inquest evidence was given by relatives that deceased had been depressed and strange in his manner the last few days. A verdict of suicide while in a depressed state of mind was returned.
