I’erreau to “take the job on,” but while appreciating the confidence reposed in him, Air Perreau did not give the deputation a. definite answer. Although Air Perreau has not served as a Councillor, lie has actively associated himself with almost every other local institution and has won the esteem of citizens. With the assistance of a capable town clerk and the co-operation id' councillors, he should not find the position a difficult one to till.
