Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 3rd Febliiarv, 1925: — “The auctions closed here to-day with buyers operating sparingly. The market, was rather easier. As compared with the opening rates of this series, we quote: —Greasy Merino, best, no change; do., average, id. per Hi. lower; llalfbreds, 50/56’s 2d per lb. lower; Crossbreds, 48/ 50’s, 2d per lb. lower; do., 46/48’s 2d per lb. lower; do., 44/40’s ljd per lb. lower; do., 40/44’s l:fd per lb. lower; do., 30/40’s l£d per lb. lower; slipes, ljsd per lb. lower."
