INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
Two further cases of infantile paralysis have been reported to the Palmerston N. Hospital. One case is a little girl aged two years from Raumai. The other case was admitted yesterday afternoon and was a man about 25 years of age from Rongotea. liis condition is not serious, although he has been ailing for nearly a week. The boy aged 2 £ years, admitted from Mangaweka, on Sunday, has showed signs of a slight improvement in bis condition. The previous ten cases are all progressing satisfactorily.
Palmerston N. has now been free of the epidemic for thirteen days.
Five cases of infantile paralysis were reported at Wanganui yesterday, three from the city, one from Castleeliff and one from Bulls. Three of the cases are regarded as serious.
