WEDDING.
P R FAY- —TF AIPLFTOX. In St. Peter's Church, AA’illis Si. branch. Miss Mary Downey, youngest daughter of Mrs AT. G. Templeton, of Wellington, was married (o Mr Jack AAA Prew, youngest son of Mr and Airs AY. Prew, of Foxton. The ceremony was conducted hy the Rev. ('. 11. Watson. The bride, who was given away by ATr A. Pringle, wme a gown of white satin and pale hint' georgette, with sleeves and panel of radium luce, rucked on i itlier side and trimmed with orange blossom. She also wore a hand embroidered veil, and carried a bouquet' of roses, sweet pens, and maidenhair fern, with pale pink streamers. The chief bridesmaid was Miss Nellie Downey, who wore a frock of pale pink georgette, worked, with crystal heads and trimmed with pink ostrich feathers. Tier hat was of white georgette, with ostrich feather to tone. The second bridesmaid, Miss Fnid Patlison, wore a frock of mauve georgette worked with crystal heads, and trimmed with mauve ostrich feathers, with white hat and ostrich feather to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr A. IT. Greener, as best man. Mr S. Bavliss was groomsman. The bride’s mother wore a grey braided costume with an altnond .green hat. The bridegroom’s mother wore a brown braided frock and hat to match. A reception was held at t lie residence of the bride’s mother at Bolton St. The bride and bridegroom later left for the south, the bride travelling in a fawn gabardine costume, with hat and shoes to match. Among those present at the reception were: Mrs J. Broad (sister of the bridegroom), Mrs \\ r alker, Mrs Patison, Mrs Gibbens, Mrs and Miss Nolan, Miss Kirwin. Miss F. Ryan, Air and Airs Couper, Air and the Misses Hannafin and Air C. Dorrian.
