PAHIATUA RACING CLUB’S MEETING. The first day of the Pahiatua Racing Club’s annual meeting Avas held yesterday. Despite heavy rain on the tAvo preceding days, the track Avas in excellent condition, and Aveather conditions for the day ideal, brighi, sunshine prevailing all through. The totalisator handled £11,661. as against £12,537 for the first day in November, 1923. Results. — Maiden Race. —Judiettc 1, Red Glow 2, Sea Kist 3. Won by a length each Avay. Time 1.17 4-5. Ballance Highweight Handicap,— Ilaligan 1, La Reve 2, All Gold 3. Won by a neck. Time 2.1 3-5. Hamua Hack Handicap.—Cherry Pie 1, Lady Gay 2, Beaumont 3. Won by a length. Time 1.16 3-5, Pahiatua Handicap,—Kilfaire 1. Happy Days 2, Last Crust 3. Won by half-a-leugth each way. Time 2TO. Konini Hack Handicap.-—Fillettc 1, Bonnie Gold 2, Bevis 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.29. Makuri Hack Handicap.—Hhvinni 1, Luarne 2, Miss O’Dille 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.2 3-5. President’s Handicap. —Lady Fingers and Tinohari (dead heat) 1, Prince Hal 3. Won by dead heat, Avlth third horse a head aAvay. Time 1.16. Eketalnma Hack Welter. —Bezau 1, Sir Moment 2, Moutoa Lady 3,. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time 1.30 3-5.
