Messrs .Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 20th January, 1025. — “The auctions opened here today with an average attendance of buyers. As compared with the closing rates of the last sales, we quote: Greasy Merino, best, 2d and 3d per lh." lower; do., average, 2d and 3d pei lh. lower; fine Halfbreds, 50/SG, If per lh lower; Halfbreds, 48/50, Id per lb lower; fine Crossbreds, 4(!/48’s, Id per lh lower; medium do. 44/4(>’s, no change, coarse do., 40/ 44’s, no change; low do., 3G/40’s, no change; slipe wools, par to lAd per lb lower.”
