His own car, giving trouble, he got out to hail a passing ear for help, and was apparently knocked down, dying a few hours later of laceration of the brain. CAR OVERTURNS. LAW CLERK KILLED. A farmer found an overturned car on Balfour road, Core, to-night with three men under it. One, Gordon D. Watson, law Gore, was killed outright, and the other two, George Campb'ell, agent for the British Imperial Oil Co., of Gore, and his brother, Roderick Campbell, clerk in the Bank of New Zealand. Gore, were taken to I lie hospital in an unconscious and critical condition.
