DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
The Chairman of the local State School Comjmittee has telegraphed to the Chief Inspector, asking him to lix a date to meet the Committee to discuss the establishment of a local district High School, for which almost 30 students are offering.. The Committee and Board have already sanctioned the establishment of the school and it now remains for the Department to accede to their wishes or give reasons for withholding the request.
