ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Carterton, January 15. A yon Hi named William Cassidy, town at noon to-day, while carting firewood. It is presumed lie was jolted off, a wheel passing over him. Wellington, January 15. At the imprest on Harry William Dale, who was found dead on Paekakariki hill on January 2, shot in the rdiesl, a verdict of suicide while depressed owing to ill-health was returned. Te Kniti, January 15. After a day and a night of continual searching, Mrs A. Curtis, who disappeared from her- home 12 miles from Kopaki, was found this evening in the hush near the Molpan River. Though she had been two days and a night in the hush, she was able to walk home with the rescue party. Christchurch, January 15. The body of Annie Lawrence, aged 34, was found in the Avon this afternoon, fthe had been missing since last night.
