ADDITIONAL RACING PERMITS.
T<> BE ALLOTTED TO COUNTRY CLUBS. Nelson, January 14. The Hon. R. F. Bollard, replying to a deputation from the Jockey and Trotting Clubs, said that, equal consideration would be given to Nelson as to other centres. He believed the House intended the additional pernfits for country clubs and he proposed to place them there. He also considered there should he a re-shuffling of the existing permits and intended to go into that question and see that country clubs got a fair deal. •
