HIGH CO MAH SSION ER ’ S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 10th inst., reads: “Hemp, Manila market, dull. ‘J’ grade, Ja-minry-Mnrch shipments, sold at £55 10/- buyers; market quiet but steady at close with ‘J’ grade, .Janu-ary-March shipments quoted at £56 sellers. New Zealand market continues quiet, Deecmber-March shipments quoted at high points £43, fair £4l and value; reported sales of fair afloat at £4l 10/-.”
