ROYAL PICTURES. On Friday night at the Royal Theatre Dustin Farnum will appear in “Big Happiness.” In this picture you will see the Rue Paradise, the night atmosphere of the Paris cafe, an ever moving picture of lovely women, exquisite toilettes, elegant men, vivid cameos making up a gorgeous whole. How a bride who had been bought by her husband declared herself the evening of the wedding, the thrilling rescue of a beautiful girl from a runaway horse and numerous other scenes, all exciting and full of interest. On Saturday night Petite Ann May is one of the principals of the cast of “The Dangerous Maid,” a First National costume comedy-dra-ma starring Constance Talmadge. Mss May’s career has been an unusual one and in “The ■ Dangerous Maid” she is shown to’ advantage. She was Charles Ray’s feminine lead in “Peaceful Valley,” and other notable successes. A really fine picture, with good supporting programme. “THE CIRCUS COWBOY.” Combining the romance of the West with ijie colourful life of the sawdust ring, the Charles (Buck) Jones picture, “The Circus Cowboy,” should please Town Hall patrons on Saturday next. The storf concerns a cowpuncher who, pursued by a posse in the belief that he shot a man, escapes and finds refuge with a circus as a trick rider. This temporary haven supplies romance in the form of a little tight rope walker, hut it also supplies numberless complications and exciting situations. On Monday night Colleen Moore and Kenneth Harlan will be seen in the delightful romance of a young Irish boxer, who wanted to be a policeman. The cast is all Irish. Next week Graham Wilcox’s tenreel feature, “Chu Chin Chow,” will be screened for one night only.
