POLICE RAID BILLIARD ROOMS.
OWNERS CHARGED WITH -,A -KEEPING gaming houses. Dannevirke. Wednesday. The customary serenity of local billiard room habitues was sbmewhat disturbed this afternoon when two separate parties of police paid an uninvited call to two rooms and ; arrested, the proprietors, Harry Drinkwater and John Francis Flynn on charges of keeping common gaming houses. The accused appeared later in Court and were remanded till January Bth. Bail in £2OO eaeh, was forthcoming. -
