annual meeting. The annua] meeting of the members of the Manawatu Hunt was held at Mr'VV. McKenzie’s rooms, Broadway, on Saturday night, when Mr S. R.„ Lancaster presided, and there was a record attendance of members. The annual report and balance sheet, which had been issued to members, were taken as read, and adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— Patron: Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., president: Mr S. R- Lancaster; vicepresidents: Messrs D. B. McEwen, R. A. McKenzie, R. McDonald, F, Robinson, W. G. Shannon; Master: Mr L. N. Collinson; Deputy Masters: Messrs T. ft. Taylor (Kiwitea), S. G. Perry (Waituna), J. Shaw, C. G. Wood (Rangitikei Line), W. Scott (Aokautere), D. R. Buchanan (Waikanae), E. E. Shortt (Feilding), W. Neylon (Foxton). D. B. McEwen (IViiranga), W. G. Fry (Makino), H. R. Lancaster (Te Matai), A. Balmer (Raumai); Committee (including above): Messrs W. V. Andrews, W. E Barber, H. Beatson, H. D. Buchanan, W. F. GilUgan, S. H. Lodge, G. K. Mander, E. L. Olliver, D. Pnngle, L. Proctor, G. V.
