BEACH NOTES.
EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. (From our Own Correspondent) A very enjoyable euchre party and dance was held in the Beach Hall last evening. The prizes were won by Airs Hartley and Mr P. Pedersen, and the booby prizes by Mrs Larsen and Air Chaffey. After a dainty supper had been partaken of the floor was cleared for dancing, which was continued until .1.30 a.m., to splendid music* supplied by Alesdames Murdoch and Evans piano) and Air F. Hall (accordian). Mr S. Hartley carried out the duties of Af.C. The wiring gang for the Horowlienua Electric Power Board working at the Manawatu Heads are progressing very satisfactorily with the installations ajud beach residents hope to have the "juice” by Christmas.
