«, • Final Count. —The Flags will he altered at intervals in froi\t of the Carnival Office until- closing time, 10 o'clock TO-NIGHT. * # * Coronation THURSDAY NEXT, December 4th. * * * Secretaries will receive full instructions at the Carnival Office re procedure in connection with voting payments. * # « Full particulars of the Coronation will appear in Tuesday’s issue of (lie Herald. * * * Secretaries are asked to draw all competitions at the Carnival Office as earlv as possible TO-MOR-ROW. * * * The Carnival Organiser and Exofive take this opportunity of sincerely thanking all those who have worked so generously, also the gen r oral public for their unstinted support. * * * The Sports make a last and final frantic appeal to the public for assistance. The shop is going TO-DAY and all raffles will be drawn tonight, bul unless unstinted support is forthcoming, we must die a sportsmanlike death. Where are the sports? Only another 1/9 may enable us to win, if you haven’t got the change, write the secretary a cheque for £SO and be a sport.
All monies due to the Sports committee must be paid to the secretaire TO-DAY, and as early as possible. There are plenty of wood things at the Spor.ts Shop at bargain prices. Buy just what you want. * * * Sports raffles will be drawn 'in public at the secretary’s premises TO-NIGHT and all books will close at'9 p.m. *- •* * The Sports secretary will give you a blank cheque-form free on application, and your donation will be appreciated. * * * Take a ticket on the Sports gramophone.
