Reward is offered for the return of a lost bunch of keys. A lost black jersey cow is advertised for. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd. advertise entries for the Foxton stock sale, to be held on Monday next. Particulars of train arrangements and of issue of holiday excursion tickets to Feilding in connection with Feilding races on 29th November and Ist December are advertised in this issue.
Charles E. Dempsy, Official Liquidator, gives notice 'that as the premises of the Fox ton Motor and Engineering Co. have been closed down, all goods left for repair must be claimed before Saturday, 29th November, 1924, or they will be sold. Air Pearson will be on the premises to deliver goods, Mr J. B. Merrett will deliver a lecture in the Town Hall supper room on Thursday, 27th inst., on “Possibilities of Poultry Farming in New Zealand,” with special reference to the Foxton district. Mr Merrett recently visited England to establish the export trade of eggs, and this season has shipped 150,000 dozens on behalf of producers. Prices have been encouraging and all interested should attend.
