The Sports SHOP DAY ON SATURDAY will be the market for the district. The goods will be fresh and will include poultry, dressed and undressed; iced cakes, pigs, complete dinner, flowers, eggs, cream, butter, etc. Open at 8 a.m. No early doors. Yes! We have no bananas.
Sultana Cake Competition. A handsome prize of a silver vase will be awarded to- the sender of the best sultana cake to the Sports Shop on SATURDAY. All cakes to become property of the Committee. Judging by expert. Let us see who are the cooks.

Don’t he frightened of the Sports Mock Court. It is for amusement, and the worst offender is liable only to a fine not exceeding 2/6.
The Maori Entertainers will be in attendance at Easton.Park on Saturday.
Remember the Sports’ Big Ball on the 25th at the Town Hull, the admission will lie 4/- and 2/-, to say nothing of the supper.
There will be new items and new artists at the SPORTS . SACRED CONCERT on SUNDAY, 8.30. Town Hall.
Bandsmen are asked (o attend an important rehearsal a I the practiceroom at 7 o’clock to-night. Miss Ilealcv will conduct the rehearsal.
The local Oddfellows Lodge are arranging' a concert Jo he produced at the Town Hall next TUESDAY, for the Sports Queen candidate.
