LOSS OF MEMORY.
. ♦ WANDERING FOR A WEEK. Thames, October 22. A report was recei'.rd by the police early yesterday moaning that, a man had been found lying on the Pool path in Grey St. A eons table at once proceeded to the spot to investigate. He found a man about 33 years of age lying against the fence in a helpless condition and had him taken to the hospital for treatment, lie was unconscious hut has since recovered and is improving, but seems in a dazed condition and cannot remember anything that has taken place during the past week. The sufferer is a returned soldier named W. Roy. lie belongs to Hamilton, where he keeps a boarding house in Collingwood St. He has been missing from there since Tuesday. He complains that he lias lost some papers and a ten pound note, Imf cannot remember where he has been during the past week, or where lie has stopped. There is, however, no suspicion of foul play, of any kind and there are no marks of violence upon his person. It is said that he lias suffered from shell shock and is liable to fits.
