HIGHLANDERS’ CONCERT.

TOWN HALL, MONDAY NIGHT. A limit reminder is given of the above musical event, to take place in the Town Hull on under the auspices of the Frie Brigade Queen candidate. The organising of this big event was left to Mr Golder and lie has left no stone unturned 10 ensure a record attendance. Amongst; the many interesting pipe band events are vocal items and Scottish dances. Mr C. Simmons will contribute monocelloisf items. Miss Mavis Murhead, a talented vocalist and gold medalist, has also been engaged for the concert. This young lady was winner of the Bristol Scholarship at the age of 18 veal’s, and winner of the championship contest recently held in Palmerston X. A crowded audience is anticipated.
