CROQUET.
There was a small attendance at l lie opening of the‘Wednesday croquet 30-minutes tournament yesterday, owing to many of the members attending the Levin Club’s opening. The scores were: —.Mrs Bryant /, Mrs Moore 7, Mrs Huntley 3, Mrs McMurray 3. Ladder match: Mrs McMurray lost to Mrs Owen, 22—20. The local ladies who participated in the Levin opening had 4 most enjoyable time. Mesdames Barr, Parkes. and Downes annexed prizes in I lie tourna meat.
